Overview
Midsummer Comedy Fest is a Stockholm comedy festival held each June, hosted by Presens Impro, a local collective that runs the PIK Vasastan and PIK Kransen theaters. The festival premiered in 2025 and returns June 24-28, 2026, drawing comedians from Stockholm, Los Angeles, Gothenburg, Berlin, Copenhagen, Seattle, and beyond.
Its roots are in game-based, organic improv, but the program spans the full range of comedy: improv, stand-up, sketch, musical comedy, and more, plus workshops. Presens is led by My Gudmundsdotter and Erik Broström, longtime figures in Sweden's improv scene.
Submissions
The festival runs an open application process welcoming performers across comedy styles. Applications for the 2026 edition are closed.
