Improdrom is an international festival of improvised theatre held in Bydgoszcz, Poland. First staged in 2014, it presents Polish and international improv shows alongside workshops, impro jams, and mixed-group sets over several days. The festival was founded by the Municipal Cultural Center (MCK) and the improv theatre wymyWammy, and is now produced by Teatr Kameralny im. Wandy Rucińskiej in cooperation with MCK and the wymyWammy improvisers, with program direction led by wymyWammy performers including Katarzyna Chmara.
The 2026 festival is the 10th edition, running September 10-13 at Teatr Kameralny on ulica Grodzka in Bydgoszcz. This edition hosts six improv theatres, among them The Maydays from the United Kingdom and Wrocław's Teatr Muzyczny Capitol, which presents a fully improvised musical. The program pairs performances with workshops for both experienced and beginning improvisers (some taught in English by the visiting guests), plus accompanying events such as free youth comedy-improv workshops and a public debate on improvisation and theatre-therapy.
The festival runs a workshop program led by improvisers from Poland and abroad, with sessions aimed at both advanced improvisers and newcomers. Several workshops are taught in English by the international guest artists.
